In the city of Thule there is a caste of virgin warriors, whose mystical preparation is combined with war training.

They protect the temple of the goddess Freya, celebrate the ancient rites to the Great Mother and defend this sacred place in case of war.

They enter the temple as children and there they are trained by the Valkyries themselves to become paladins of the kingdom. Only a small number of them will be destined to win a place among the immortal creatures, transhumanizing and becoming Valkyries when they’ll leave their mortal remains. It is said that Triskel became the favorite of Hilda, her teacher, as she distinguished herself for her religious devotion and courage on the battlefield in the defense of Thule from the Roman siege.
