Quetzalcoatl – the Feathered Serpent

Description

Quetzalcoatl was venerated as god of the wind, of the planet Venus, of the dawn, of merchants and of arts, crafts and knowledge. He was also the patron god of the Aztec priesthood, of learning and mystic knowledge. He is the major deity of the Paititi and supreme initiator of the mysteries of the ancient Mesoamerican tribes. In him the two natures are united: the serpent and the eagle, the reptile and the bird, the human and the divine, the animal body and the divine spirit. He whispers the secrets of Creation into the ears of the priests of the eagle and the serpent.
